Marco Villa

Marco Villa is a senior leadership advisor focusing on innovation and early-stage investor active in multiple geographies.

Driven by his passion for tolerance, cultural understanding and for helping become the best possible versions of themselves, Marco has now gained three decades of experience as a trusted advisor, mentor, and investor.

Marco’s expertise lies in successfully developing and supporting new business and not-for-profit initiatives in multiple geographies, including the mobilization of private and public investors, coaching, and developing individuals and teams, and supporting business development and fundraising efforts to scale growth and impact.

Marco enjoys being an active guest lecturer at several Universities including Stanford (Palo Alto), Fudan (Shanghai), Yonsei (Seoul), LUISS (Rome), Bologna Business School and the Polytechnics of Milan and Turin.

Earlier in his career, Marco has been a manager in the global office of PwC, he managed and sold a medium-sized business, co-founded and managed the largest angel investing group in Italy, and led multiple of projects and organisations, always at the international level.

Marco holds a master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Catholic University of Milan, where he delivered the commencement speech in 2015. Marco lives in Dubai and he is the Chapter Lead in the United Arab Emirates of the Alumni Organisation of his alma mater.
