Massimiliano Boggetti

CEO – Diesse Diagnostica Senese S.p.A.

With a degree with honors in Molecular Biology from the University of Milan and over 30 years of experience in the biomedical and in vitro diagnostics sector, Massimiliano Boggetti has developed an international career covering strategic roles from R&D to general management.

Since 2019, he has been the CEO and shareholder of Diesse Diagnostica Senese S.p.A., an Italian company and leader in the production of diagnostic systems, reagents, and software. Under his leadership, the Diesse Biotech Campus was established, an innovation hub built on the principles of Industry 5.0, focusing on people, planet, and prosperity, sustainable automation, and process digitalization.

He was the founder and for seven years President of Confindustria Dispositivi Medici, representing the national medical device industry, and from 2022 to 2025 he serves as President of the National Technological Cluster for Life Sciences ALISEI, fostering dialogue between public research and industry.

Passionate about technology, he has been a TEDx speaker on innovation and digital transformation, bringing this vision into his leadership. A deep connoisseur of Lean Manufacturing, he has published books and articles on operational excellence and organizational innovation.

He has supported valuable social initiatives such as Dynamo Camp and Fondazione Golinelli, convinced that scientific progress must translate into concrete benefits for the community.
